![]() ![]() Gramma and Momma Love me and they will always take care of me"Īfter two rounds she became occupied with the toys and was just sniffing a bit. All the while she was randomly 'crying out' as if she was not sure if she was unhappy or not, so I tapped another round. I varied that phrase inserting "Gramma loves me"Īfter a few rounds she sighed deeply and then I put her feet in the water and she allowed me to sit her down. (Oh, happy day!!!) I sat with Alize and tapped only on her face points gently saying. I finally asked their mom if I could try some EFT on them and she agreed. Alize allowed us to place her in the tub but she continued to cry out. She is one of those kids that bounces up after falling and rarely cries about 'owies'. Alize is about a pound heavier than Sarina and she (Alize) is our little tomboy. We ran the water in the tub and each of us undressed one of the babies. We speculated that it was more about the confined space and the sound of water that had upset them. It was a couple of weeks before they came to see me and their Mom asked if we could bathe them in my big garden tub. The day they came home from the procedure they would not let their parents bathe them without getting hysterical. They had both loved bath time and water play until they had to have tubes put in their ears because of re-occurring infections. To look at them now you would never know that they began life weighing in at around 4 pounds each. These two beauties were born 6 weeks early- their Momma has done an amazing job of taking care of them and their older brother (now 5). I have had several one minute wonders with people with phobias but none have been so close to my heart as helping my own twin granddaughters get over their sudden water terror. ![]()
